1. You are in an enclosed space with a group of friends. Elevator, auto, small room, etc.. You fart and it really stinks. Do you take credit for it or do you play along with the questioning of who did it? I play along in the who done it category.

2. You are locked in a room sitting at a desk with just a piece of paper and a purple crayon. What do you draw? I usually doodle stars. Not sure why.


3. Do you ever pee in the shower? Gross! I've never peed in the shower.

4. Have you bought, sold or got rid of something on Craigslist? No, not yet but have looked on there from time to time.

5. You are in a convenience store. In the line in front of you is a drunk guy trying to purchase more alcohol. The cashier tells him they cannot sell it to him because he is obviously already intoxicated. He gets belligerent. The cashier is scared. What do you do? I would wait a little bit to see if he will leave, if not, I'd walk outside and call the police.

6. While shopping for produce, do you "sample" before you buy (i.e. grapes)? No, I consider that stealing.

7. You are walking down the street and there is a toddler sitting on a bench by themselves in front of a store - do you just keep walking? No Way! I would try to see who he belongs to and if I couldn't find the parent, I would call the police. I would never let a child sit there alone. I don't think I'd ever forgive myself if someone snatched him and I didn't do anything.

8. Have you looked up an old friend and/or lover online? I've tried to lookup one of my girlfriends from school but couldn't find her.

9. You are nearly in a car/auto accident. Do you freak out, follow the person who nearly caused it & talk to them or just keep going? I would probably through out a few choice words but keep going.

1. You walk into a store and the cashier is being held up by a robber. The robber's accomplice is dead on the floor at your feet with a shotgun laying next to him. The robber does not see you, but the cashier does - what do you do? I'd grab the gun and tell him to drop his, if not wound him in the leg.

2. We go to an ice cream shop for an ice cream cone. You say you are buying and I am going to stay in the car. You ask me what I want and I say "surprise me", what kind of ice cream cone am I going to get? Chocolate all the way

3. You have a dream that your co-worker, friend or whoever is hit by a garbage truck after they back into a ladder with a black cat on it. The next day you see that person standing by a ladder with a black cat on it and there is a garbage truck driving down the road.... what do you do? I would yell at him to get away from the ladder.

4. What is the most money you've won on a lottery or scratch off ticket? $2.00

5. A neighbor kid down the street comes to your door and offers to wash all of your windows outside for $10 - do you have him do it? Probably not. If they fall it will cost me alot more money.

6. Go to Google Images. Type in the name of the last movie you saw. Post the first picture that comes up. "The Proposal" with Sandra Bullock. A great movie. Loved it. I still watch "The Lake House" everytime it comes on TV too.


7. Your local animal shelter calls you and says there are 3 dogs that need an immediate foster home for 3 days. If you do not accept, the dogs are put down that day. Do you take them in? Yes, I would take them in, no problem.

8. What is the messiest room in your home? My scrapbook/computer room.

9. Have you ever been to a wedding that participated in a strange tradition that you had never heard of? I don't think so.

10. Name one sport that you just don't get. Well, I get mostly all sports but not crazy about watching them. I can't stand to watch golf or tennis on TV. Boring to me. I would play though.

11. What was the last email that came into your inbox about? It was about a book.

12. Have you ever purchased anything from a sex shop? Extra points if you tell us what it was.... Nope

13. Go back to that Google Images link... type in the last food item that you ate. Post the 2nd picture it comes up with. Pretzels


14. Got any bumper stickers on your vehicle? What are they? Yes, Triple A sticker and a Marine sticker. My youngest son was in the Marines.

15. What meme question do you wish was never asked again? Can't think of any.

I was going to post a scrapbook page but by the looks of it I may not get to do any today so I am posting these pet rocks. I posted them before but I think only a couple of people seen them. I will post a different craft next week.

My son and grandson made these pet rocks. I think they came in a kit but how easy it would be to just buy the stuff and make several of these yourself.

Thought I'd show the underside of these, along with them side by side for more detail. All you really need is some paint, brushes, stuff for hair, eyes which you can get in a large pack, glue, and some felt for the wings, feet, and nose. The rocks you can either find outside or buy a pack of those smooth ones at the craft store. Great project to do with the kids.

Pet Pride -Shake on It!

Another Pet Pride Sunday.

My dog Tucker shaking his paw on it. I had a hard time getting him to do this. Not sure if it's a small dog thing or not but I've always found bigger dogs never have a problem learning how to shake.

I am proud to say that Tucker has also just recently learned how to open up the outside door. He'll push the door with his head when he wants in. I have to leave it ajar but it's better than leaving the air conditioning outside or shuting him out altogether. He knows alot of single words and also if he gets into trouble he'll bin himself. His punishment time is usually only about a minute or two but he knows when he has gotten himself into trouble. He can't shut the door yet. Oh well, some things take time. LOL.

1. Do you know anyone with heterochromia? Does it freak you out or do you think it's interesting? We had a gym teacher in middle school who had one brown eye and one blue. No, it doesn't freak me out. I find it interesting.

2. Should a 5th face be added to Mount Rushmore? If so, who? No, it's been that way for years. Like they say, if it's not broke, don't fix it.

3. If you could live on any planet other than earth, which one would you choose and why? Mars. Not sure why I chose that one. Take me to your leader.

4. We're going to spend the night at a reportedly haunted location, are you going with us? Sure, I could use an adrenaline rush.

If so, which reportedly haunted place are we going? How about Casper the ghost.

5. Did you play The Queen's Meme this week? If so, was it fair of The Queen to put Berleen in the dungeon by association with Kimber? (We all know Kimber deserved it, but Berleen?!) Didn't play.

6. What color is the towel(s) hanging in your bathroom? Green

7. Tell us something funny that happened to you recently. I fell off the front porch backwards. My foot slipped off and I went flying backwards. I got up, looked around to see if anyone seen me. I hope not.

8. We just bought you a cow. Do you kill it & grill it, feed it & milk it, or sell it? I would feed it and milk it. Keep it as a pet.

9. It's 115 degrees outside (46 degrees Celsius), are you able to go without Air Conditioning? Hell NO!

10. When you visit the zoo do you wonder which animal tastes better with a bit of butter & spices? Never thought of that. What kind of Zoo do you go to? Either that you are really hungry.

11. Dog ate your homework/work papers. Does it crap out Shakespeare, quantum physics, or just crap? Just crap

12. We are taking you to a broadway show, what are we going to see? Since I don't really like broadway shows and I think I've only gone to one, I will say Cats.

13. Gunshots in your neighborhood. Pop, pop, pop. Do you go out to take a look, or hide? Well, I would hide and peek out the window, and call for help.

Do you watch Big Brother? I love this show. What are your thoughts so far about the clicks? I think it will make it interesting. Who's your favorite so far? I think just starting my choice is Lydia. She seems down to earth and seems like a nice person. I may change my mind later on but that's who I'm routing for right now. In case you forgot who Lydia is, she's the one with all the tatoos.

I really didn't want Jesse coming back into the house. I was hoping Jessica or Cowboy was going to win that chance. Do you have or ever had in the past live feed? Was wondering how much it is and if it's worth it. I've been thinking about getting it. Anyone have it?

1. Do you tend to have a guilty conscious? Depends on what it is.

2. Do you still have your wisdom teeth? No, just got them out last year.

3. Peanut Butter - creamy or crunchy? Creamy

4. Get up off your butt. Take 5 steps. Which leg did you start out on? Right

5. What color is your favorite kitchen utensil? Don't really have a favorite. I'd rather go out to eat but can't do that all the time.

6. Did you watch the Michael Jackson memorial/funeral? Yes, it was sad to see a great singer/dancer gone. Even sadder to see how broken up his children were. I love the new song they were showing that he was going to do on his tour. I forget the name of it though.

7. Do you know anyone who graduated from high school this year? No
Were you invited to their graduation party? Did you go?

8. White with black stripes or black with white stripes? Since I love skunks, I will have to say black with white stripes.

9. If we were to call your 6th grade teacher, what would they say about you? I loved taking a home type class where we got to cook for the teachers. I don't really like to cook now though. Where did I go wrong?

10. Can you draw a perfect circle? No, Is it mandatory?

11. What was your favorite scratch & sniff sticker scent? Strawberry

12. What does your sibling do for a living? I have a brother who I don't see much of and he works in a factory. My sister is a manager at a store. She'd rather be on a horse farm. Here's her two horses. Their names are Spot short for Spotted Dream Catcher and Merlin short for Merlin the Magician. I'm am sure you can guess which was is called Spot.

Here's a tribute photo I did for one of her husband's cousin who died last year. He loved her horses, drove truck, always wore hats, and was a veteran in the war.


13. How many light switches and electrical outlets are in the room that you are in right now? Three

14. Do you know sign language? I did take a sign language course about two years ago. But, I'm far from being able to talk to someone who does signing all the time. I know some words and the letters but you'd have to talk to me slowly.

15. Do you step on cracks in the sidewalk? Yes, unless my grandson tells me not to.

16. And the sheets on your bed look like....? They are plain but I have 400 thread count one's on right now. They are soft.

17. What is something that everyone else has, but you don't? Well, not everyone has one but some of my scrapbook friends have a cricut for scrapbooking and I want one.

In no particular order, 13 of my favorite books. I only put a very brief description here but if you go to my Barb's goodreads you can see my full review of these books.

1. Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen. About an older man in a nursing home remembering back when he was working with the circus.
2. True Colors by Kristin Hannah. About three sisters, their struggles and owning a horse farm.
3. The Fairlawn Series by Angela Hunt. The first book is called Doesn't She Look Natural. Three books about a women who gets inherited a funeral home.
(I just discovered Angela Hunt and am loving her books and writing.)
4. The Scarlet Thread by Francine Rivers. Two women, two different time periods but very much alike.
5. Heart Shaped Box by Joe Hill. A heart shaped box gets delivered with a suit inside that haunts someone. A ghostly tale.
6. Against Medical Advice by James Patterson and Hal Friedman. A wonderful look and better understanding into Tourette's Syndrome.
7. The Penny by Joyce Meyer. A book about the struggles of two children when whites and blacks at the time weren't allowed to play together.
8. The Next Level by David Gregory. This is a book to see what getting to the next level will bring when you believe in God.
9. A Walk in the Woods by Bill Bryson. Walk along the Mid-State Trail with two older men and see how they survive each other.
10. A Can of Peas, Aprons on a Clothesline and Dandelions in a Jelly Jar, A series of books by Traci DePree. Traci makes you feel like your right there with the family living in a small town.
11. Hotel on the Corner of Bitter and Sweet by Jamie Ford. The book goes back and forth between Henry growing up in 1942 and then much later in 1986. It's also about a love story between a Chinese boy and a Japanese girl who grew up together in a time when they weren't allowed to be together.
12. Change of Heart by Jodi Picoult. A prisoner murders one daughter and wants to give his heart to the sister. I also read Salem Falls by Jodi Picoult, a good book also.
13. Scrapbook Page Maps by Becky Fleck. Had to throw in one about scrapbooking because this is the best scrapbook book I've gotten in a long while. I like that it has cards in the back with the sketches on that you can tear out of the book and take along with you to crops.

Thirteen things I love about summer...

1. Watching my grandson play outside. (See my first video below of an obstacle course that my husband set up for our grandson.) He loves it outside.
2. Fresh smell of cut grass.
3. Sitting out on the deck on cool evenings.
4. Watching the sunset.
5. Watching the sunrise.
6. Taking lots of summer photos.
7. Taking walks.
8. Reading out on the deck.
9. Watching the birds.
10. Watching the squirrels.
11. Seeing how much our dog loves to roll around on the grass on a nice summer day.
12. School is out which means seeing my grandson even more.
13. Picnics.

1. When you close a door, do you close it quick and just let it slam or do you hold the knob and slowly shut it tight? I pull it shut and make sure it's closed tight but I do not slam it.

2.Train A is moving at 60 miles an hour. Train B is moving at 22 miles an hour. They will pass each other at X time. Now what color shoes are you wearing when train A derails? Probably tan. Does it really matter if it derails?

3. What if M&M's grew on trees? What color M&M tree would you have? Blue

4. How many petals on a flower does it take to make it the perfect bloom? Not sure. I'll guess 8 but do you know?

5. I took you to spend $421.67 on you, what did we spend that money on? Scrapbooking supplies. Woo Hoo!

6. If you were a squash, what type of squash would you be? zucchini

7. Have you ever gotten a wrong number call and ended up talking to the person for longer than 5 minutes? No

8. Why haven't you joined Berleen & Kimber at Insanity Cafe yet? Do we stink? Not sure. Guess I've been doing Thursday Thunks and didn't think to look around more. I will check it out.

9. Now for one of Ber's questions back when TT was brand new... Shampoo bottles say lather, rinse, repeat... do you? No.

10. It's July, the year is half over. Do you see it as "whew that part is over" or best is yet to come? Best is yet to come.

11. Why do you do the Thursday Thunks meme? It's goofy and fun. I love to see what other people write.

Obstacle Course

This is my first attempt to post a camera video on here. Hope you enjoy it. This is an obstacle course my husband set up for our grandson. He loved it. At the end it sounds like I said three seconds but I met to say 30 seconds. In reality it's 59 seconds. I really wasn't sure how many seconds it was, I was just trying to keep up with recording.
